On September the 21st, I was dashing around north Birmingham searching for the fibreglass owls that make up The Big Hoot trail. One I found was number 75: Night Owl by Michelle Turton.
Michelle Turton draws on paper, skate board decks, totem poles, walls and even beermats across the world. She co-founded Inkygoodness in 2008 and writes travel blogs at travelwithturton.com. Her ‘weapon of choice’ is the mighty pencil!
She has produced illustrations for a variety of projects, including the Eye Candy Festival in Birmingham, and a selection of her portraiture work has been featured within 1,000 portraits book of illustrations. Michelle has exhibited internationally at Pictoplasma in Berlin and as part of Fiend Projects Arts Festival in Antwerp, Belgium.
